Big Move . . . or Don't Move . . .

2 months ago, I moved out of my base (as I would like to call it) here in the UK. After all it was the first place I moved in to and lived for a couple of weeks short of 12 months. Hull. There's absolutely nothing here. Well, the money makers of this city (it's what the people here call it, though its a town really) is the University, Reckitt, and PWC. But other than that nothing much goes on here. A lot like the little town of Nilai. Where the huge non local population consisted of the lecturers and students of INTI and Nilai College.

So as soon, or before my contract with the Uni Accommodation ended, I packed up and moved further up North. Something I said I would never do, only because I'd rather not move further up where it was cold most of the time and only got colder during the winter. A friend of mine used to say, "Never say never". And for the last 2 months I've been here in Edinburgh.

It's been a life changing experience for me. After Seremban and Nilai, I worked in KL for 3 years and then moved up to Penang where I stayed put for 5 and a half years. And now here I am moving within 12 months.

A part of me always thought I could've moved out of Penang sooner. So this is a step up then. In less than 12 months I moved from England to Scotland. Got me a small time (for now) job. Am scheduled to start a certification job in January.

But above it all, a big change came into my life. A dear friend who read my tarot card predicted that for the coming year. I'm not ready to go public with it. Though some friends know, most don't. the last 2 weeks was pretty intense, a lot of talking, some tears, and a little bit more certainty than before. So this change is good.

Although I wish other parts of my life had more certainty and stability, I definitely am grateful for what I have and who I have with me here and now.
