I'll Be Missing You . . . .

Why is there happiness when I talk to you?
Why does my heart leap with joy whenever I think of you?
Why do I feel so free whenever I'm with you?
Oh, why do I have all these feelings I feel for you?

Why is it I can be me and you can be you whenever we're near?
Alas there comes a time there's no you and me forever....

It pains me to be the one to let you go,
It breaks me up inside, and if you feel it just say it's so....

They say every good thing comes to an end,
But for you and me it all ends even before it began....

As we take the road that goes away from each other,
There will always be memories of you and me together....

As I take this path, walking away from feelings so true,
Just wanted to let you know that I will be missing you....

My Precious Little Forest

From the very first day I moved into this place,
You were there to greet me,
From the very first morning I opened my door,
You were there to greet me with your smiling face,
You were the only one,
You were the perfect one,
The most perfect creation of God,
You were the perfect sanctuary for all of God’s beautiful creation,
You offered sanctuary to the bird with a broken wing,
How could they ever thank you?
How could the ever repay you?
By chirping lively at the sunset?
Yes, that’s how,
Even the sacred river that flowed through you,
Can’t thank you enough for protecting her,
At dawn when I stand in front of you,
I hear you sway in the tranquil breeze, doing a slow waltz,
At duck when the sun is setting in, You make the orange sky look like paradise,
As soon as you bid farewell to the sun,
You wait calmly to greet the moon,
While everyone is a sleep, I sometimes quietly watch you dance slowly in the moonlight,
Gently swaying your arms,
How I yearned to join you,
You were like a God to God’s creation,
Everyone living under your roof lived in perfect harmony,
Even Robin Hood who was on his stallion vowed not to steal a penny,
Every time I come home you were always there,
Playing mother to the most beautiful birds,
Even the snakes and monkeys would obey your every command,

But, one day as I came home, I see you, almost completely gone,
Robin Hood no longer around,
The birds orphaned with no mother to care for them,
How could they go on?

With no God to protect them,
Where will they go?
What will they do?
You were almost dying,
And they were going to die too,

My Precious little forest,
I’m sorry, I’m so terribly sorry,
You were being injured,
You were going to die,
And it was all because of my own kind,
Mankind,
Mankind who were so cruel,
You were so helpless,
Seeing you fall how could they smile?
I know, that all they saw was the dollar sign,
Hearing you fall was music to their ears,
But to me it was my heart breaking into pieces,
It was like my bones being crushed,
It was like my skull cracking,

My precious Little Forest,
How ashamed I am to be apart of those people, those cruel, cruel people,
How I wanted to fall on my knees and scream, to make them stop,
How could I ever say I’m sorry to the squirrels who had no place to go,
But why should they forgive me?
They had lost their home,
Now, where would they go? Where would they run?
Would I be able to take care of them as well as you did?
Even if I wanted to try,
They would never let me,
It was my kind that destroyed you,
What would make me any different from them?
How I want to hold them and tell them it isn’t true?

My Precious Little Forest,
Now you are completely gone,
Forever, How sorry I am,
You’ll never know,
But I thank you my precious,
For all the fond memories you gave me, as a child and as a teenager,
For the pass 17 years,
Nobody has given me such pleasant memories,
As you have given to me my precious,

And I thank God for creating you,
Im sorry you had to be taken away in such cruel manner,
For I shall never forgive mankind for their cruelty to you,
And I shall always remember you,
My Precious Little Forest.
