Why is it I can be me and you can be you whenever we're near?
Alas there comes a time there's no you and me forever....

It pains me to be the one to let you go,
It breaks me up inside, and if you feel it just say it's so....

They say every good thing comes to an end,
But for you and me it all ends even before it began....

As we take the road that goes away from each other,
There will always be memories of you and me together....

As I take this path, walking away from feelings so true,
